Your prompt library, one keystroke away, in any app.
Keeps the prompts you reuse in one place and brings them up with Alt+Space, like Spotlight. Search, press Enter, and it is in your clipboard — or typed straight into whatever app you are in.
A prompt that worked well is worth reusing. In practice you go hunting through old conversations, fail to find it, and rewrite it from memory — worse than the first time.
Good prompts get lost. They end up in notes, in old conversations, in files you cannot find again — and you rewrite them slightly differently every time.
PromptBar keeps them locally, with a title, body, suggested model, tags and notes. Press Alt+Space anywhere, type two letters, hit Enter: the prompt is copied. Cmd+Enter types it straight into the active app.
Prompts can take variables — fields you fill in at use time, with defaults or a list to choose from. Organise them into collections, see a prompt's version history, and roll back to an earlier one.
It ships with a pack of 1,350 ready-written prompts for working with agents and with Claude Code. These seed prompts are written in Romanian — worth knowing before you buy, since they are a large part of what you get. Everything you write yourself is of course in whatever language you write it.
It also ships an MCP server, so Claude Code can search and use prompts from your library directly, without copy-paste.
All of it stays on your Mac. No account, no server, no sync.
